About us
Since January 2020, Meg & Oly have been offering canine services such as dog walks and private training sessions. The owners are two passionate animal lovers, especially when it comes to dogs.
The dog trainer, Olivier, studied at La Brigade Canine in Pointe-aux-Trembles. Méganne, on the other hand, holds training in animal nutrition and business administration.
With Meg & Oly Canine Services, you’ll enjoy high-quality service and a passionate team. We offer a service contract, insurance, affordable packages, all payment methods, and great flexibility.

Are your dog trainers certified?
Yes, our dog trainers are certified. Olivier, one of our owners, studied at La Brigade Canine in Montreal. All employees are meticulously trained by him. We also have interdisciplinary knowledge in areas such as canine nutrition.
What training methods do you use?
We use balance training for dog education. As dog trainers, we apply positive reinforcement techniques and do not use choke collars, prong collars, or electric collars. Instead, we establish boundaries that the dog must respect. We work strictly with control harnesses or head halters to ensure a humane and effective training experience.
Can a reactive dog benefit from our dog walking services?
Absolutely! However, we take a personalized approach by gradually training your dog with a dog trainer and carefully integrating them with other dogs during outings, according to their specific needs and progress.
Do you offer group walks for dogs?
Yes, we offer both individual and group walks. All our dog outings are designed to be educational and provide socialization opportunities for your companion. Our dog walkers ensure that each walk is enriching.
Can I accompany my dog during the walks with the dog walker?
We do not allow owners to accompany their dogs during walks, as this would turn the session into a training class. If you would like to learn more about how to train your pet, we offer dog training services to support you.
Can you help with puppy training?
Absolutely! We offer training services for dogs of all ages, from puppies to adults. Our in-home dog trainers are here to help you. It’s never too late to start training your pet.
In which areas do you offer dog walking services?
We serve Montreal’s South Shore, including Boucherville, Longueuil, Saint-Lambert, Saint-Hubert, Greenfield Park, Brossard, La Prairie, Candiac, Saint-Philippe, Saint-Mathieu, Saint-Constant, Delson, and Sainte-Catherine.
Do you offer services for cats?
Yes, we offer in-home visits for cats, which is perfect if you’re going on a trip and need someone to take care of your feline friend.
Is there an age limit for dog training?
Not at all! As long as your dog can hear and see, we can work with them through in-home dog training to improve their skills at any age. Our dog activities are tailored to every stage of their life!
Are packages available?
Yes, we offer packages for our dog walking services. You can purchase 5, 10, or 20-walk packages at discounted rates.

Oui, nos dresseurs de chien sont certifiés. Olivier, l’un de nos propriétaires, a étudié au Centre la Brigade Canine à Montréal. Nous avons également des connaissances interdisciplinaires dans des domaines tels que la nutrition canine.

Quelles méthodes d'entraînement utilisez-vous ?
Nous utilisons le "balance training" pour l’éducation des chiens. En tant qu’éducateur canin, nous employons des techniques de renforcement positif et n’utilisons pas de colliers d’étranglement, de colliers à pointes ou de colliers électriques, mais nous établissons des limites que le chien doit respecter. Nous travaillons strictement avec des harnais de contrôle ou des licous pour garantir une expérience d’entraînement humaine et efficace.

Un chien réactif peut-il bénéficier de nos services de promenade de chien?
Absolument! Cependant, nous adoptons une approche personnalisée en entrainant progressivement votre chien avec un éducateur canin et en l’intégrant progressivement aux autres chiens lors des sorties, selon ses besoins spécifiques et ses progrès.

Proposez-vous des promenades de groupe pour chiens ?
Oui, nous proposons à la fois des promenades individuelles et des promenades de groupe. Toutes nos sorties avec les chiens sont conçues pour être éducatives et offrir des opportunités de socialisation pour votre compagnon. Nos promeneurs de chiens s’assurent que chaque promenade soit enrichissante.

Puis-je accompagner mon chien lors des promenades avec le promeneur de chien?
Nous ne permettons pas aux propriétaires d’accompagner leurs chiens lors des promenades, car cela transformerait la session en un cours d'éducation. Si vous souhaitez en apprendre davantage sur la façon d'éduquer votre animal, nous offrons des services d’éducation canine pour vous aider.

Pouvez-vous aider avec l'éducation des chiots ?
Absolument ! Nous offrons des services d’éducation pour les chiens de tous âges, des chiots aux chiens adultes. Nos éducateurs canins à domicile sont là pour vous aider. Il n’est jamais trop tard pour commencer à entraîner votre animal.

Nous desservons la Rive-Sud de Montréal, notamment Boucherville, Longueuil, Saint-Lambert, Saint-Hubert, Greenfield Park, Brossard, La Prairie, Candiac, Saint-Philippe, Saint-Mathieu, Saint-Constant, Delson et Sainte-Catherine. Nous avons récemment ouvert les villes de Beloeil, McMasterville et Sainte-Julie.

Proposez-vous des services pour les chats ?
Oui, nous offrons des visites à domicile pour les chats, ce qui est parfait si vous partez en voyage et avez besoin de quelqu’un pour s’occuper de votre ami félin.

Y a-t-il une limite d’âge pour l'éducation d'un chien?
Pas du tout! Tant que votre chien peut entendre et voir, nous pouvons travailler avec lui grâce à un éducateur canin à domicile pour améliorer ses compétences à tout âge. Nos cours de chien sont adaptées à chaque étape de leur vie!

Y a-t-il des forfaits disponibles ?
Oui, nous proposons des forfaits pour nos services de promenade pour chien. Vous pouvez acheter des forfaits de 5, 10 ou 20 marches pour chien à des tarifs réduits.
